Read to a Donkey - Children's Literacy Program

We are aggressively working to grow our offerings to the community, especially for the children who visit our furry friends. We are formally launching a fundraising campaign for our children's literacy program, which encourages a love of reading, fostering confidence in our young readers. Recognizing that not every child thrives in the traditional learning environment, we are creating a unique and safe space where they can improve their reading and language skills—interacting with our donkeys as they participate in 'read to a donkey' sessions. This project needs a dedicated space! Fundraising is underway for a handicap-accessible pavilion and paddock to welcome everyone interested in our donkey sponsorship opportunities and support our initiatives.
